Samsung Galaxy Star Duos S5282 is a Android Smartphone running Android OS, v4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) and features 1 GHz, Spreadtrum SP8810 processor. It has a 3.0 inches (240 x 320 pixels, 133 ppi) display, and is powered by its 1200 mAh Li-Ion Battery. In terms of storage it has 4 GB, 512 MB RAM and storage is expandable via microSD, up to 32 GB. REQUIREMENTS
This guide is intended for the Samsung Galaxy Star Duos, model number GT-S5282 , running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. Please do not try it with any other models. You can check your device model number by going to Settings > About Device on your phone, or by checking the labels on the packaging box
How to Root.. ?
Download and install the Samsung USB drivers on your PC
Download and extract the Cydia Impactor zip to your desktop
Enable USB Debugging on your phone by going to Settings > Developer Options
Connect the phone to the PC via USB cable.
Run Cydia Impactor on your computer
In Cydia Impactor, select # drop SuperSU su to /system/xbin/su from the drop-down menu and then click Start to begin the rooting process.
Once the process is complete, disconnect your phone and reboot once
Once the phone has booted up, download and install SuperSU from the Play Store
Launch SuperSU, and update the binaries if prompted
After rooting your device download “ROOT CheckerBasic’’ on your android device (which is available in Play store)
Congratulations!! Your Samsung Galaxy Star Duos is now rooted, and you can proceed to try out several apps available specially for rooted devices. Cheers!!

Step #2 Then download Kingo android root Step #3 Install it on your computer and Launch it. Step #4
Connect your device and enable USB debugging.
[“Settings” > “about phone” > Tap “Build Number”
7 times in rapid succession >back>developer option>USB debugging]. Once you’ve enabled USB debugging mode on your phone, connect your Android to your PC with a USB cord. The program should detect your device and a message asking if you’d like to root will appear. Step #5
